Trek Highlight

Another jewel of the Himalayas that is untouched by trekkers around the world is the Brahmatal Trek, which is devoted to Lord Brahma. It is beautifully positioned amidst the Himalayas and covered with blankets of snow. The trail allows you to see the centuries-old forest of oak and rhododendron. Walking in meadows besides Brahamatal Ridge, you can see many sites of the Roopkund Trek. A glance at the Garhwal Mountains in the distance on a clear day will totally melt your heart.

Itinerary

Your trip starts with the driver picking you up from the railway station or bus stand and helping you transfer from Dehradun to Lohajung. You will be traveling for 9 hours to reach Lohajung for an overnight stay in the guest house.

After having your breakfast, commence the trek to Bekaltal through the forests of oaks and firs, and let your eyes enjoy some awe-inspiring views of Nandaghunti Peak. Conclude the 4-5-hour trek after you reach Bekaltal for an overnight stay in a tent.

Start the day with breakfast before proceeding to Brahmatal Base Camp. The trail leads through stunning forests and open meadows, offering glimpses of snow-capped mountains. The trek duration is around 5–6 hours. Set up camp for an overnight stay.

Trekking Distance: 8 km.

Post-breakfast, conquer Brahmatal! Trek for 3 hours to the summit, soaking in the Himalayan grandeur. Breathe in epic snow-capped vistas from the top. Descend and snuggle into your tent for a starry night under the peaks.

Trekking Distance: 15 km.

Right after breakfast, you'll trek back from Brahmatal to Lohajung, following the same route taken earlier. Upon arrival in Lohajung, settle into your guest house and unwind after the day's trek.

As our adventure comes to an end, we will depart for Rishikesh early in the morning. Thank you for being a part of this journey. We look forward to planning your next adventure together.
