Itinerary

Welcome to Sankri the β€œGateway to the Himalayas”, check-in to your guesthouse or homestay. Post check-in, enjoy your day at leisure or you can explore and experience the charm of villages, observing the traditional architectures, and learning about the local life. Also, you can visit the Someshwar Mahadev Temple and enjoy a Sankri Zipline Ride. Later, head back to your guesthouse or homestay for an overnight stay.

       

Get ready for an interesting day and check-out from your guesthouse Or homestay. Enjoy a scenic drive to Taluka, the beginning point of your Trek. Upon your arrival in Taluka village, begin your trek to Puani Garat. The trail pass through the dense oak and pine forests, with glimpses of the surrounding mountains like Ruinsara, and small villages. Also, listen to the gushing of Supin River while walking close to it. As you reach Puani Garat, settle in your camp followed by an overnight stay.

Wake up in the scenic views of the snow-capped mountain peaks and prepare to leave the campsite. Begin your trek towards Kalkatiadhar, through the alpine meadows, crossing streams and rocky paths. On your way, enjoy the scenery of Black Peak, Bandarpunch range and others as you reach the beautiful Osla village, the last village on the Har ki Dun trek route. Continue your trek to reach Kalkatidhar, settle in your campsite and enjoy your overnight stay.


In the morning, enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding and get ready for your next trek. Begin your trek passing through waterfalls and reach the confluence point of River Supin and Ruinsara. Also, enjoy the snow-clad peaks of the Black Peak, the highest peak in the region. Continue your journey to the beautiful Marinda Tal and get to know about it's religious significance. Later, begin your downhill trek to Kalkatidhar campsite followed by an overnight stay.

Get ready for trekking amidst the beautiful Himalayan scenery and leave your campsite. Start you downhill trek gradually through the alpine meadows, and rhododendron forests. As you reach Osla, soak in the Garhwali culture and enjoy views of the surrounding mountain ranges including the Black Peak and Ruinsara range. Continue you trek and take-in the fresh air while listening to the sound of flowing streams. On reaching Puani Garat, settle in your camp followed by an overnight stay.

Get ready for your final day downhill trek from Puani Garat to Taluka. Begin your trek following the trail downhill, retracing your steps through the oak and pine forests along with scenic vistas. Continue your trek and get glimpses of the surrounding mountain ranges like black peak, Bandarpunch while listening to the sound of Supin river. As you reach Taluka, enjoy a scenic drive to Sankri. Upon your arrival, check-in to your homestay Or guesthouse for an overnight stay.

In the morning, admire the spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas and witness the magical views of the surrounding area. Pack your bag full of memories and check-out and your Har Ki Dun trek ends here.
